In a world that encourages constant hustle, UAA reminds athletes that true strength also comes from balance. The Sunnah teaches moderation in all things; eating, sleeping, training, and resting.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Your body has a right over you.” — (Bukhari)
Rest allows muscles to rebuild and the mind to refocus. Quality sleep and hydration are just as vital as practice drills. Encourage young athletes to rest between sessions, make duʿa before sleep, and wake with gratitude, building both discipline and serenity.
A balanced routine that includes nutritious eating, adequate rest, and remembrance of Allaah builds not only better athletes, but better believers.
